Reloaded indeed !

I liked the first one better, frankly. But this movie had the most amazing chase sequence I've ever seen. Cut the philiosophical clap-trap and its definitely worth a watch. The action sequences are mind blowing.

And yes, I think I did understand what was happening. The bearded dude at the end was Neo's father, right ?

  6. Not Neo's. He's the father of the matrix.

  7. But neo is a program

  8. who currently thinks he's human.

  9. No, Neo's a human whose life has been set up such that he grows up to become the one. He has a real human body. He can't be a program.

Except, there's that bit where Agent Smith talks about part of his code having been copied over. That's confusing, yes. And where the Architect says that with the sixth One they were experimenting with the concept of "love".

I'm guessing Persephone (the frenchman Merovingian's wife) has a significant role in the next movie. She is a program that understands the concept of "love", unlike all the others.

  12. If it's any consolation ....for all the fun you've spoiled for the others with your thoughtless comments.... it's balanced by the fact that this thread has generated a lot of amusement for this lj user ;)

    Hold on Madhav. Keep faith.

The "real world" is another Matrix which the architect has created, and at the end of movie two, Neo is now the one there too.

Oooooo! I prefer to think that she'll be in Reloaded because she's Monica Belucci. In other words, *drool...* hot ;-) !!

  14. He is not Neo's Father...lol!
He is the master program. The creator of the Matrix...the father of the matrix.
Neo is the the collective manifestation of the anomalies of the human race who's been set up to become the One, u know as a control system. But we'll have to wait till No.3 to figure out the exact nature of Neo and the nature of the supposedly 'real' world...

  15. He's not Neo's father ? I could have sworn he was...but the Oracle is his mom, right ? At least I got that part clear.

  16. hehehe....lol
no, the oracle is a program within the matrix...if neo is a program (which we have to wait till nov to find out), then they would be like similar u know...she is part of the control system.
The father of teh matrix, the architect tells neo..there is another, the mother of the matrix who created a program which gave its users the illusion of choice.
N neo asks - "the oracle??" And the architect replies in scorn- "No"
So oracle is neither the mother of neo nor the mother of the matrix. Neo reckoned that the Oracle is an independent program within the matrix...u know like what agent smith became. But later through the architect he realises that the Oracle was part of teh control system...u know to propagate the myth and common knowledge that a person would arise...who would become The One, the one to liberate the human race from the matrix...
