Malayalee in Malaysia

Will be flying out to Malaysia tomorrow night, provided I get my visa in time. The current schedule looks like this:
15th, 5pm - collect passport with visa
8pm - flight to chennai
1100pm - flight to Kuala Lumpur
16th, 800am - flight to Penang
230pm - customer demo
7pm - flight to Kuala Lumpur
8pm - paint Kuala Lumpur red
17th, 900am - meeting with business partner
12pm - continue paint job
7pm - flight back to bangalore


And oh, buy tons of dvds for self and somewhere in between.

    Hey KL is a nice place. Have fun! Go to Bangsar as well to party and shop coz there's a lot of scope for that!

    umm this is a bit late!
    heh..well .. most shopping centers have stores which sell VCDs or DVDs - depending on which part of KL/Penang you're in. I can tell you where you wont find cheap stuff - KLCC (twin towerS). Instead try.. midvalley megamall. the really cheap stuff is in.. the night markets or when you're hanging out somewhere and some shady chinese dude walks past carry an album of covers..

    someone below suggested shopping in bangsar .. uh NO. don't. overpriced stuff. But it's a good place to spend the night, have a drink, that sorta thing. the shopping is mostly at midvalley and ... in Lot 10, uh.. bukit bintang.

    I saw this after I returned, but thanks for the info. I was able to buy a few DVDs from a mall in Penang. I did get a chance to take a quick look at KLCC and what you said is absolutely right. Nice mall, though. Will checkout megamall next time.
