Hurrah for Clint!

I haven't seen Million Dollar Baby yet, but I'm very happy ye olde Eastwood won. Morgan Freeman too, finally.

And ahem!

  1. You switch on the TV, the first thing you see is Halle Berry. Then Morgan Freeman gets the award, then Jamie Foxx and ol'man Clint and you know it's going to be a lovely day.

  2. Heh, nice. I knew she had won the Razzie, but hadn't realized she actually turned up on stage to receive it!

  3. Any particular reason you linked to the quiz, as in, other than the fact that 'you' posted it and that it's probably an unusually well researched one or something?

I'm just trying to find out if I'm supposed go through the whole thing. Quizzes don't particularly interest me...

  4. Oh, just blowing my own horn. Qn #2 was about Million Dollar Baby; I had predicted that it would win the Oscars this year.

  6. Madhavo, turns out that your brother (Krishnan) and I were in the same class at some pt of time at CNEHS. I just came to know of this today, through another friend who said "Kichan's brother's blog said ... ", which led me to asking where Krishnan's brother's blog was, and here I am!

    I would never have guessed!

    What's Kichan upto nowadays?

Kichan is in Blr right now, waiting for the results of the civil services mains exam. Should be out in a week or two, I guess.

  8. It's good to hear that Kichan is still pursuing his dream. The friend's name is Anoop, but he's better know as Oothappan. ;)
Please wish Kichan good luck, he should remember Carthik. Your mom was very helpful to us when we were in the 10th standard, during the science fair, when she got us sample of livers, hearts etc from the medical college. I remember seeing her at the MC. :)

  11. Oothappan has reached Paris through Frankfurt, Vienna and God-knows-where-else. Wipro keeps him on the move.

  12. hurrah for clint again! Did you like Mystic river? Although Penn got the best actor last year, the movie did not quite go places with the people.
IMO, it was a great film - extremely well directed.
