  2. 'The New York Times Guide to the Best 1,000 Movies Ever Made' is available here at Walden. With the discount it was coming to 800Rs or so. I didn't buy it because the content is available online... Pauline Kael, I've heard so much about her criticism, but haven't yet read any of the commentary by her. I'd love to get the one you bought. :-)

  3. How many times have you seen Reservoir Dogs and Basic Instinct already?!!

    My answer: Twice, thrice.

  4. Oh yeah, I bought it because I wanted to own the DVDs. And watch them again and again, of course. Dogs is a ten year special edition.

  5. I liked it a lot. No stars, great acting, direction and script. Made me want to drink a lot of wine, too.

  6. Can anyone watch too many movies?

    Thanks!

  7. The Kael one appears to be a bit of a let down on first glance. The reviews look quite factual, which was not what I expected. Will let you know more once I get around to reading it.

  9. I've given up on watching movies. There're too many of them.

Now I just read about them...

    It's faster that way!

    On a good afternoon, I can do 20... maybe 25 :))

    Saves money too.

  14. Heh. By the way, you should post (at least) a one-liner review for all the movies from the trip.

  16. And it goes to my Media folder. The sequence of the feed is a bit skewed, though.
