Right Now I am

- 34,000 feet above sea level
- Flying to Chicago on another one of those unavoidable US trips
- Pleasantly high after a couple of glasses of scotch and a passable airline lunch
- Listening to 's Feelgood Rahman Mix, delighted with the selections
- Hoping I'll not miss my connecting flight to Greenville, SC; wondering what to do in Chicago if I do

    By any chance will you not be carrying a laptop on your return flight to India? Or do you know of anyone who will be with you without a laptop on his/her way to India? I have a laptop waiting for a person to just get it to India.

    Scotch at 34000 feet sounds like a real cool idea ;-)

    The laptop is an extended part of my body now, sad to say. So I will have mine with me. Sorry!

    No sweat. Its the same story here in terms of the extension. But I can make do with an upgrade :) Hence the quest!

    Lufthansa with one of their flynet planes? Funnily enough, though I travel about once a month, I've never been on a flynet enabled plane yet (still waiting for LH 758/9 FRA-MAA to get converted, and none of the connecting flights from FRA I've flown so far have flynet)

    I guess I'll get lucky sometime. And then shell out $30 to pay for net access on board the plane, which I'll then forward along with a pile of other bills to the accounts folks. And hope that they beat my credit card statement in getting my reimbursements set.
