B2B

Back from Leh - had a great time. Will put up a detailed post later.

And yes, finally got the Palio - hurrah !! Remind me to tell you the whole story sometime...how I almost went to court and how I was described as a "thorough gentleman" ....

My parents are home for a week, they've brought yummy chips and halwa from Kerala....aaah !

Current book - Candyland by Evan Hunter and Ed McBain

  1. Have fun with the Palio! Remember not to take it beyond 40-50 kph. for the first 2000 kms... supposed to be good for the car in the long run.

  3. Excellent! Glad to see you're having fun! Do update LJ sometime soon! I still read LJ though I don't have much time to make posts or write long comments. :/

  4. Dont get me started ! When we were on our way, the theme song was "Leh-Jayenge, Leh-Jayenge, Diwale (and) Dulhania Leh-Jayenge". On our way back, it was "Leh-Gayi Leh-Gayi...". Ouch.

  6. Did you manage a test drive of the car before deciding? I found the turning radius an issue, especially so, in high range roads and city traffic... (I drove one last week for around 250 kms in and around Munnar)And the supporting frame for the front glass... Isnt it thicker than normal and a bit to the front? You can work around this one by moving a bit in the seat..

Otherwise, the car is very good... Excellent pulling... smooth gear box and interesting features like the one for reverse gear... Enjoy maadi, when is the long drive? Suggest Coorg.
