Chip of the old block

Was reading 's famous cover story in the deadtree edition of Chip today during lunch, when I noticed a small li'l pic at the bottom of the article. This pic was taken during an LJ meet a couple of years ago, and it includes half my face.

I'm not sure whether I should be apprehensive or happy.

  1. I swear I had nothing to do with it! Not my fault! Not mine! Not mine!

  8. They didn't use any of the pictures I gave them (all people-safe ones). They first decided to drop pictures and have only illustrations, then raided my library and chose for themselves.

  9. “Paranoid Ravi” doesn’t rhyme, so can I say “Paranoid Ravindroid?”

  11. Um, I don't think so. This was the first real LJ meet in Bangalore, where more than a dozen people showed up. Quite a few stalwarts - jace, mmk, shaurya, jackol, dhempe, fus, sidcarter, kalyan, noelladsa et al.

  12. first real LJ meet in Bangalore

The first LJmeet was held in Styx pub and dumpay organised it. It was the first time that I could put faces to lj id's. Read more abt it here.

And we had a second one very shortly after that in Corner House which ravi and I both attended.
