I thought of putting the same list on my LJ with the movies I've seen...but I realise I've seen less than a dozen of these. But atleast I know which movies to buy next :)
ReplyDeleteWhat are the typical prices Madhav?
ReplyDeleteI picked up two DVDs of Gladiator and Guns N Roses Videos at a place in koramangala (with DVD box) for Rs.300. Do you think its a good deal?
Yes, the same list they referred to from rediff movies. Seeing Nayakan on the list was like a personal achievement :P I mean, I thought Kamal Haassan and the movie were brilliant but didn't expect to see it up there.

Yeah, I think it's a good deal. I assume the picture quality is good and the price is Rs 300 for both, not each.
ReplyDeletePicked them up today morning. Will need to check the quality when I get home. Infact that's why I took Gladiator DVD without some other combinations as the guy said the ones with combinations are not good quality. And yeah the price is Rs.150 each.
ReplyDeleteThanks ! :)

ReplyDeleteAh finally, "Decalogue" is included. :-)
I have seen many movies in this list. At the same time, I haven't even heard of some movies.
Till this day, I curse myself for misssing Children of Paradise (1945) at the Film Club last year, for lame reasons like Too much work load, Oh! That movie is 3hrs long....
I'm just happy to see Gurudutt get his due.
ReplyDeletea quick glance n i noticed you haven't bold out city of god... watch it the first chance you get... but not in a hurry.. the ending is worth all the mind-numbing mid-movie scenes and more!
ReplyDeleteThanks, will do.
ReplyDeletePersonal achievement???
ReplyDelete...the same feeling I get when I achieve some kinda success... (:|
