Don't waste time reading this. Head over to the nearest cinema hall and watch King Kong, if you haven't already. This is what movies are all about, this is why I love watching them. Film-making at its best.
I loved the way King Kong battles the big (the Dinos), the small (bats) and the intermediate (people), and the men vs. creepy-crawlies scene. Ugh and Awesome!
Saw it twice over. He's not modified the story but has thrown in some amazing effects. The second time over I was checking out a few folks in the theatre and they actually were ducking left-right to get out of the way in the scene where those huge animals are on a rampage
